Basic pesto pasta



  • 1 tbsp FODMAP pesto, see on lunch recipe page
  • 1/2 cup cherry tomatos, halved
  • 1/2 cup rocket lettuce (optional)
  • 1/2 cup gluten free pasta
  • 1/2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 lemon juice 
  • salt and pepper 


  1. Boil a pot of water
  2. Add the pasta, cook until softened
  3. Meanwhile wash and halve the tomatoes
  4. Drain cooked pasta, place pasta back into the pot once the water is entirely drained 
  5. Add the pesto and combine well 
  6. Add the tomatoes to the pasta
  7. Season with olive oil, lemon juice, salt and pepper  
  8. Serve
